Clarity still unclear on Cfius proposals

The proposed Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (Cfius) regulations are designed to make foreign investments in the US more predictable, but there are still some murky definitions.

"These regulations reflect America's strong and continued commitment to safeguarding US national security in a manner that reinforces the longstanding US policy of welcoming foreign investment," said Assistant Secretary for International Affairs Clay Lowery.
