Middle East awards

The biggest awards dinner yet

On October 30, IFLR hosted its 2007 Middle East awards dinner. It was the largest-ever attendance for the event, with over 200 of the region's international and local lawyers turning up to receive awards (or leave empty handed). Congratulations to Clifford Chance, which swept the evening's prizes with three deal wins, two team wins and the overall Middle East law firm of the year. As if that wasn't enough, its alliance firm in Saudi Arabia, Yousef & Mohammed Al-Jadaan, won two deals and the Saudi law firm of the year. That will be a hard act to follow next year.
