"The biggest challenge for Islamic finance is the UK's Muslim population. Lots of Muslim businesses are doing well and there are more and more Muslim professionals, but most are not very educated about shariah finance," says Mohaimin Chowdhury, head of legal and shariah compliance at European Islamic Investment Bank (EIIB).
